Mardi Gras in French translates to 'Fat Tuesday' and traditionally represented the last day of eating rich, fatty, indulgent food before fasting during Lent. Today, Fat Tuesday is also the culmination of Mardi Gras celebrations and events. Enjoy the pulse of the city and join locals and visitors celebrating throughout the streets! Space is limited on transportation, so there is a limit of one main piece of luggage per person. You will be responsible for carrying your own luggage.
Eating is a big part of travelling. Travelling with G Adventures you experience the vast array of wonderful food that is available out in the world. This G Adventures group trip is accompanied by one of our group leaders, otherwise known as a Chief Experience Officer (CEO). As the group coordinator and manager, the aim of the CEO is to take the hassle out of your travels and to help you have the best trip possible.
